Activities

Boating
Opeongo Trail is located on the Madawaska River system which offers 90 km of navigable waterways - enough to satisfy the most enthusiastic boaters.

For your convenience, canoes, boats and motors are available at our marina, along with all required safety equipment.  And we have pedal boats for the less adventurous.

Or bring your own boat and launch it from our launch ramp. Each cottage has its own dock, and we sell gas and oil right at the resort.

 • Pickerel
 • Bass

Fishing licences are required for adults, and are available at the Valley Market in Combermere.

Just Relax

Our natural waterfront offers plenty of opportunity to just put your feet up and enjoy the fresh air.

Some of our friendly neighbours (some are furry and some are feathered) might stop by for a visit.

For Kids

Of course the kids will want to spend time on the beach and in the water.  Or you might want to take them fishing.  But we also have an extensive playground area where they can have fun with the other kids staying at the Resort.

There's a basketball court, volleyball court, a badminton court, a horse shoe pit and ping pong.

And when there's "nothing to do" you can boat across the Bay to Combermere for ice cream at the Valley Market.

Please use the playground, basketball court, volleyball court, badminton court, horse shoe pit, and beach at your own risk.
